2014 JO25 Flyby on April 19th

minute by minute ephemeris for best viewing of 2014 JO25 04-19-17

Hello, everyone!  The link above is a text ephemeris I built with the JPL HORIZONS system for the Wednesday flyby of asteroid 2014 JO25.  If you have an 8″ dob, you should be able to see the asteroid.  It will start in Ursa Major at the beginning of astronomical twilight (8:21 PM CDT), and should soon travel into Canes Venatici, then into Coma Berenices, according to the ephemeris.

I may take the dob over to Key Cave if skies are clear.  Let me know if you’d like to meet me.
